- Description
- To the Jew First is a collection of essays put together under the aegis of Chosen People Ministries, formerly known as the American Board of Mission to the Jews. Many of the papers presented were delivered at two conferences held in 2000, one in New York and the other in southern Florida. These papers represent one particular trajectory within Jewish-Christian relations, a trajectory urging that the good news of Jesus is to be preached to both Jews and non-Jews. It goes without saying that given the contemporary North American and post-Holocaust environments, such a proposal meets with strong opposition from some quarters.
